CDC - Use Masks to Slow the Spread of COVID-19 / Types of masks
We highly recommend KF94 / KN95 masks which can be found easily online. Choose carefully to avoid counterfeits.
Another effective + protective option is wearing a cloth mask over disposable mask. (“double masking”)
Any mask(s) you wear should be close-fitting, covering your entire nose + mouth without air gaps around the top, bottom, or sides. Use clips or simply knot the ear loops to create a better seal.
